April 27th presents a tough choice between People You Know, the best new band I saw in 2010 (although they played before that, I’m so self-centred that since I didn’t see them until the Silver Dollar show, I still call them new) at the Bovine, and Hunx and his Punx, who I saw showcased at Red 7 during SXSW, at the Horseshoe:
